A-1 Freeman Moving Group Participates in NAVL-USO Partnership03/10/2017For 75 years, the USO has provided invaluable programs and services as well as stellar entertainment for American military personnel and their families. North American Van Lines (NAVL) and its agents – of which A-1 Freeman is one of the largest and still fastest-growing – are strong supporters of the military. So it’s with pride that we at A-1 Freeman join NAVL in partnering with the USO for an “Every Move Matters” campaign. What this entails is simple: For every move we book through the North American Van Lines USO website in 2017, NAVL will donate $100 to the USO.* That money will be used by the USO to help support veterans as they transition from active duty back into civilian life. If you look at the USO’s history, you’ll likely be amazed at all it’s done – and still does today. This non-profit organization, which is sustained by charitable contributions from millions of Americans, operates in 180 locations worldwide. Its centers have been visited more than 7 million times by service members and their families. And its volunteers have logged something like 10 million acts of connection for the benefit of active-duty service members, civilian-transitioning service members, wounded, ill, and injured service members, military families, and families of those who’ve fallen in battle. Over the course of its 75 years, the USO has served as a vital bridge between Americans and their military service members. It excels in keeping troops connected to family, home, and country throughout their service – particularly when they’re stationed abroad, in far-flung locales. All of us at A-1 Freeman look upon our participation in this NAVL-USO partnership as a meaningful way of expressing our gratitude to the men and women who secure our nation’s freedoms. *Up to a maximum of $50,000, which is the balance of the annual fee for the partnership agreement.
